How can I possibly add to the story Helen has written, it even captures the fabled ‘jam pudding IED’ that is infamous around both Loanends and Killead! So I'll simply try to say what Pam meant to me...
For me Pam always made me feel welcome, at home, uplifted and valued anytime I ever met her.
She has also given me a deep love for the movie ‘Out of Africa’ ever since we had a movie night at the White family home on the Sevenmile Straight. It was on a new VHS so that gives you an indiction of the date!
But importantly, anytime I bumped into her we could always have a natter and she would make anything that may have been bothering me seem fine, or even fix it with her thoughts on the matter. Her enthusiasm, welcoming nature and happiness was something I admired, and it was formative to me – the saying that you can spread happiness really did epitomise Pam.
While work and travels have meant my time back home was restricted, for the limited interactions I had with her, Pam made a big and positive impact on my life and for that I will be forever grateful.

Thank you to everyone who has expressed their sympathy, love and care in so many ways - for phone calls, cards, emails, texts, whatsapps , facebook messages...for flowers, books, meals, soups, breads, buns, shortbread, cake, jam, grocery shopping and even tumble drying bedclothes. Thanks also to the medical teams at Templepatrick Surgery, Dalriada Call out, Antrim Hospital for their first class care of Mum. Thank you to Loanends Presbyterian Church, Rev John Murdock and Peter Leitch for help with planning the service and recording of same and to Bairds of Antrim, Funeral Directors for their professionalism and guidance of how to arrange a funeral in such unprecedented times.
